Refund Policy
Effective 28 August 2026 · EstaEta retains only amounts that have actually been earned or properly incurred.
The EstaEta private service fee is US$49.95 per applicant. The official Government of Canada eTA fee is CAN$7 per applicant and is separate from the EstaEta service fee. A cancellation does not trigger an arbitrary fixed forfeiture. We determine what work was actually completed when a valid cancellation request was received, retain only fees properly earned for completed disclosed milestones, and return the unearned balance subject to mandatory law and any applicable professional client-service agreement.
Government-fee treatment
The official Government of Canada eTA fee is CAN$7 per applicant and is separate from the US$49.95 EstaEta private service fee. If a government fee is paid on a customer's behalf under an authorized service or representative process, it is handled at the actual government amount as a disbursement. No margin is added to an amount presented as a government-fee disbursement. Once an actual government fee has been paid and is non-refundable under the government's rules, that actual disbursement may be non-recoverable.
Regulated professional services
Where regulated Canadian immigration services are included, the applicable professional client service agreement governs the professional scope and any professional fee milestones in addition to this policy. Website terms do not convert an unearned professional fee into an earned fee or override mandatory professional or consumer-law obligations.
Refusal, delay or travel changes
A government refusal, delay, request for information, airline disruption or change of travel plans does not automatically make completed private services refundable. It also does not permit EstaEta to retain fees for work that was never performed. The earned/unearned calculation still applies.
Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorized charges
A duplicate charge, amount that differs from what was authorized or other payment error is investigated separately from an ordinary cancellation. Valid payment errors are corrected and are not reduced simply because application work has started.
Chargeback or payment dispute
You may contact EstaEta first so we can identify the order, completed milestones and refundable amount. Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising a lawful cardholder, banking or consumer right available to you.
Refund accounting
Where a refund is not for the full EstaEta service amount, we will identify the basis for the calculation, including completed disclosed service milestones, earned amounts and the balance that remained unearned. Any actual government-fee disbursement will be identified separately at its actual amount.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email support@estaeta.com from the email used for the order when possible. Include the applicant name, order or application reference if available, transaction amount/date and a short explanation. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords or online-banking credentials. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where practicable. The time taken to appear after release depends on the card issuer, bank and payment network.
A — Before service work begins
US$49.95 service fee remains unearned and refundable
Payment has been received, but no disclosed human administrative or professional service milestone has been completed. Automated form validation alone does not make the service fee earned.
B — One or more service milestones completed
Only the fee attributable to completed, disclosed milestones may be retained
If a valid cancellation is received after work begins, EstaEta accounts for work actually completed. Any part of the US$49.95 private service fee not earned against a completed disclosed milestone remains refundable. There is no automatic percentage forfeiture merely because a review started.
C — All purchased service milestones completed
The private service fee may be fully earned
Once all purchased service milestones have actually been delivered, no unearned private-service balance remains. Where regulated professional work is included, its applicable client service agreement and professional fee-accounting requirements also apply.
Mandatory consumer rights: Mandatory consumer rights, cardholder rights and professional obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded override this policy where applicable.
