Official Government of Canada eTA fee
CAN$7 per applicant
- Valid for up to five years or until the linked passport expires
- Allows multiple trips while valid
- Visitors are normally admitted for up to six months per visit, subject to the border decision
- Linked electronically to the passport used for the application
- No paper authorization needs to be printed
The official government fee is separate from, and not included in, the EstaEta private service fee. If a government fee is paid on a customer's behalf, it is handled only at its actual amount as an authorized disbursement.

When properly retained or authorized and legally permitted, the regulated professional may prepare, review or submit through the appropriate IRCC representative process. Canadian authorities make the government decision.
Who does what
Administrative work and regulated professional work have defined roles
Regulated Canadian immigration services provided through Arc Techno Pty Ltd / EstaEta.com are provided and supervised by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Arc Techno administrative and support staff operate the website, collect factual information, perform permitted administrative completeness checks, handle billing and provide customer support; they do not independently provide Canadian immigration advice, make individualized eligibility assessments or represent customers. Professional review, individualized eligibility assessment, immigration advice where required, supervision, and any representation or submission are handled by the regulated professional when properly retained or authorized and legally permitted.
When a customer is properly retained or authorized for regulated representation and it is legally permitted, the regulated professional may prepare, review or submit the matter through IRCC's Authorized Paid Representatives Portal or another appropriate IRCC representative process. Canadian authorities remain responsible for the government decision.

Frequently asked questions
Can I apply for an eTA myself?
Yes. EstaEta is optional. You can use the official Government of Canada eTA application directly on Canada.ca without purchasing EstaEta's private service.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. Canadian authorities decide every eTA application and admission to Canada. EstaEta does not guarantee approval, government processing time or entry.
Are you the Government of Canada?
No. EstaEta is a private service operated by Arc Techno Pty Ltd. It is not a Government of Canada website.
How long does an eTA take?
IRCC states that many eTA applications are approved within minutes, while some require additional review and take longer. EstaEta cannot expedite or guarantee the government's timing.
Do children need their own eTA?
Yes. A child who is required to have a Canada eTA must have their own individual eTA linked to their own passport. A parent's eTA does not cover a child, including an infant.
What if I have a previous refusal or a complicated history?
Answer the factual questions truthfully and completely. Where individualized eligibility assessment or Canadian immigration advice is required, that work is handled through the regulated professional service.
